M.E Applied Electronics

Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering is a combination of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering subjects for applied engineering. This is primarily an engineering course combining the electronics part for sensing and instrumentation engineering. It has seen an extremely widespread application in almost all discipline of engineering e.g., Mining & Metallurgy, Robotics, Textile, Rolling Mills, Cranes & Hoists, Arc Furnaces, Chemical Engineering, Process Control, and Static Relays, etc. This new technology resulted in more versatile, compact, accurate and faster response time instruments and they are replacing the old ones very quickly.

WHY TO BECOME AN APPLIED ELECTRONICS ENGINEER?

Creating advanced and well-equipped devices is the need of hour in the emerging era of automation and process industries. This branch of study deals with designing and development of such instruments and devices that can measure, control, regulate and record data involved in various industrial processes. An Applied Electronics graduate will be trained in programming techniques, design communication networks composed of sensors, actuators, PLCs, Control theory and so on. This branch of engineering finds application in robotics, chemical engineering, rolling mills, process control and many such engineering disciplines. Here Applied Electronics graduates are trained to meet the industry needs. Courses like Integrated Circuit Technology, System Design using IC’s orient engineers to undergo rigorous training in complex design and fabrication problems. Computer Hardware and Software course are structured to meet the ever-growing needs of IT Industry.
